Funding available for Community Food Projects

Somerset Community Food have funding available to support community food projects in Somerset at this challenging time. We would like to support established community food projects and help to keep things going and also support new projects getting off the ground.

We have a number of small grants between £100-£500 to cover costs such as resources, tools and expenses. We will fund voluntary sector and not-for-profit projects e.g. growing projects, healthy eating and cooking projects, food co-ops, CSAs, food poverty projects, projects helping vulnerable people access locally grown food etc. We will not fund the private projects of individuals and businesses.

You will report back to us in a straightforward way - proof of purchases, brief description and photos of activity generated, how projects and people have benefited, lessons learned and tips to pass to others; we are not expecting a lengthy, written report.
